The Blushin Story: How a “warehouse surprise” turned into our biggest give-back ever
The honest update (from me, Nat)
If you’ve seen the Blushin sale and thought, “This feels… insane?” you’re not wrong.
I want to share what actually happened, because I’ve always built Complete Beauty Haus with you, not at you. And I’d rather be real about the messy parts of business than pretend everything is perfectly planned 100% of the time.
Here’s the short version:
-
I found out we had a large amount of Blushin stock still sitting in a holding facility
-
To get it released, I had to pay a huge invoice immediately
-
The stock then needed to be shipped out fast
-
And once I saw how much was there… I knew I had one option: move it quickly
So instead of quietly trying to push it at full price and hoping for the best, I decided to turn it into something that actually feels good for you too.
A chaotic business moment… turned into a massive give-back.
What happened with the Blushin range?
Behind the scenes, I had a call with our manufacturer and learned something that genuinely made my stomach drop:
We still had a significant amount of Blushin stock sitting in their holding warehouse, not in our hands.
To release it, I had to pay an invoice that wasn’t “small-business-friendly” in any way it was the kind of payment that makes you stare at the number for a while and question every life choice that led you there.
But it was time-sensitive.
If I wanted the stock, I had to move quickly pay the invoice, release the units, and ship them out.
So I did.
And then the boxes arrived.
And it hit me: I can’t sit on this amount of stock.
Not with storage, cash flow, and the reality of running a growing brand.
This stock needs to move and it needs to move fast.
Why the sale is so crazy (and why it actually makes sense)
Let me be super clear:
This sale isn’t because there’s anything wrong with Blushin.
It’s because I need to shift volume quickly.
When you’re holding thousands of units, it changes the game. Stock sitting on shelves ties up cash, space, and momentum and I’d rather have those resources free to keep building CBH the way I want to build it.
So I asked myself:
If I have to move this stock fast… how do I do it in a way that feels like a win for my community too?
And the answer was simple:
Make it so good you don’t need to overthink it.
This is one of those “blink and you miss it” moments where you get to stock up, try shades you’ve been curious about, or grab the full set for less than you’d ever expect.
“Is this too good to be true?”
I get it. When a sale looks this big, the first thought is usually:
-
Is it old stock?
-
Is it being discontinued?
-
Is something wrong with it?
-
Why would a brand do this?
So here’s the truth:
This is simply a founder making a fast, strategic decision after a very expensive warehouse surprise.
I needed to pay a large invoice to release the stock and now I need to clear it quickly so the business we are able to keep moving forward.
And honestly? If I’m going to have a moment like this… I’d rather it benefit the people who’ve supported me from day one.
What you need to know before you shop
-
This is a limited-time, limited-stock clearance event
-
Once the units are gone, they’re gone
-
I can’t guarantee restocks at this pricing again (because I never want to be in this situation again 😅)
If you’ve been waiting to try Blushin, this is your sign.
If you already love it, this is your stock up and don’t speak to me later moment.
The offer
You’ll see the exact pricing and bundles on the site, but the whole point is simple:
I need this stock moved super fast — and you get the benefit.
If you want the easiest way to shop it:
-
Grab your shade
-
Or grab the set
-
Check out quickly (because carts don’t reserve stock)
A personal note (because I mean this)
Running a brand is wild.
Some weeks you feel like you’re on top of the world. Some weeks you get hit with a surprise invoice and a warehouse plot twist that makes you want to crawl under your desk.
But the reason I keep doing this even when it’s stressful is because of you.
The messages, the orders, the reposts, the “I feel like I can actually get ready in 2 minutes” DMs… it’s not lost on me. I’m grateful in a way that’s honestly hard to put into words.
So yes this sale is “crazy.”
But it’s also my way of turning a very expensive moment into something that feels like a win for the people who back this brand.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting my chaos and my vision. And thank you for helping me clear these shelves so we can keep building what’s next.
With love,
Nat x
